Focus

212° Focus

Having a simple, clearly defined goal
can capture the imagination and inspire
passion. It can cut through the fog like a
beacon in the night.

One of my favorite things to do is yo-yo. Now at first I didn’t try it because I thought it looked to hard and that I would never get it. With support from my friends Aberahan and Eric, and a lot form Mr. Barton I learned one of the coolest things on the planet! But why I chose Focus is because yo-yoing takes a lot of focus. If you don’t focus and really Practice your heart out, you will get nowhere. Now I’m not very good at yo-yoing compared to Steve Brown or Grant Johnson, But if I focus hard and practice a lot I know ill get there some day. That is why I chose Focus for my 212° poem.

Yo-yo,
I think that you are right. This piece has deep meaning because it's true. Without focus, people would never have learned to do anything. The only problem I have with this piece is that it's not punctuated correctly. For example, in the second to last sentence, you don't have an apostrophe in the word, "I'll". But overall, I like this piece. It's very well-written. I hope you get better at yo-yoing! -The Red Writer

This piece is very good and gives a good description of the Pearl Harbor attacks. Without focus people would have never learned to do anything. I really like it and keep it up.
